For contact with corrosive media, abrasive substances or use at high temperatures, all-ceramic rolling bearings are preferred. Other areas of application are in the field of sealing rings and axial thrust washers for compressors.

Hybrid bearings in particular, in which the inner and outer rings are made of steel but the rolling elements are made of ceramic, have a whole range of advantages over conventional bearings made of steel.

For rolling elements such as balls, rollers, tapered rollers or barrels, you can have the required ceramic blanks manufactured by QSIL. We offer our customers the blanks in the qualities “as-fired” and “pre-ground”.
